Our spine pain protocols include:

  • Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD) Protocol

  • Discogenic Pain Protocol

  • Post Back Surgery Protocol

Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD) Protocol

Our most popular treatment protocol is for degenerative disc disease, which means the discs in a certain part of your spine (neck, mid back or low back) lose their height and thickness, therefore precipitating pain and dysfunction.

We offer several options to serve your interests:

  • Two-day Treatment Protocol: this includes an in person evaluation with the physician who will perform your procedure. The in person evaluation generally takes 45 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the patients background knowledge and complexity of the situation. Day 1 is the evaluation. Day 2 is the treatment, which will include a regenerative medicine procedure, the nature of which is determined on a case-by-case basis.

  • Five-day Treatment Protocol: This option includes an in-person evaluation and 4-5 sessions of dry needling or prolotherapy performed by a board-certified physician as well as laser therapy, kinetic taping, or ultrasound therapy performed by our staff. Local patients may generally spread this out over the course of several weeks. and may include therapies prior to and following a regenerative medicine procedure, the nature of which is determined on a case-by-case basis.

  • Immersive Program: We are currently enrolling patients in our immersive program which includes an evaluation, one or two regenerative medicine procedures, and dry needling or prolotherapy for 5–10 days. For patients in the immersive DDD protocol, we arrange for a rigorous immersive experience, which will be uniquely curated for each patient. This may include consultation with a functional medicine physician, physical and/or occupational therapists, naturopathic physicians, psychologists, personal trainers, and nutritionists. This may also include infusion therapies.

Discogenic Pain Protocol

This program is designed to treat a painful disc in the spine.

It includes a free MRI review during the application process, an in person evaluation, and a regenerative medicine procedure that will generally include injections  into the affected disc and the surrounding structures around the disc.

Post Back Surgery Protocol

If your neck or back still aches following surgery, this comprehensive protocol may provide you lasting relief.

Generally, patients must wait 6 months after spine surgery to be eligible unless the spine surgeon is willing to write a letter clearing them for our services.

In our post back surgery protocol, we focus on disrupting the scar tissue right around the area of surgery, and we also treat the adjacent levels including the disc, muscles, ligaments, joints, and nerves above and below the surgical area.

We have three options for patients who have already had spine surgery:

  • Two-day Treatment Protocol: this includes an in-person evaluation with the physician who will perform your procedure. The in-person evaluation generally takes 45 to 90 minutes depending on the patient’s background knowledge and complexity of the situation. Day 1 is the evaluation. Day 2 is the treatment, which will include a regenerative medicine procedure, the nature of which is determined on a case-by-case basis.

  • Five-day protocol: This option includes an in-person evaluation and a special procedure to help break up the adhesion/scar tissue around the surgical site. The five-day protocol also includes 4-5 sessions of dry needling or prolotherapy performed by a board-certified physician as well as laser therapy, kinetic taping, or ultrasound therapy performed by our staff. Local patients may generally spread this out over the course of several weeks, and may include therapies prior to and following the regenerative medicine procedure (generally done on day 5).

  • Immersive Program: We are currently enrolling patients in our immersive program which includes an evaluation, one or two regenerative medicine procedures, and dry needling or prolotherapy for 5–10 days.
